Atonement

So there you are my child.
Eyes open to the world...
Footsteps on the fallen snow
Of a winter's freeze.
I've followed you through the cold
This blind obsession...
Deep depression
As young as you were.

What did you see?
(That frightened you)
What did you feel?
As far as your senses would guide you through...
Your spirit longs to be free...
Just without atonement
Of all that's important here.

What did you see?
That frightened you
Why is death so fixed in your brain...?

You must live first
Before the story is complete.

So there you are my child.
Eyes open to the world...

A poet

If it is in Will.

So there you are my child.
Eyes open to the world...
